Third year, and most of my time went into people. After being elected class and then course representative, I became district coordinator for UniLab and then president of B.lab, one of Bocconi’s student representation associations. We brought 3,000 people and €20k in sponsorships to B2P at Parco Ravizza, took 400 students to the snow, hosted events with distinguished guests, published exam notes, and won the CNSU elections with UniLab, with the district’s best single-candidate result.

Second year of university. After Covid, clubs were slowly reopening, and my love for music pulled me back in, this time on a much bigger stage. I got to know club owners and DJs across Milan and built a team running weekly events in five venues, plus corporate and private events, from the Bocconi Gala to nights abroad.

I was a huge Avicii fan, and he pulled me into electronic music. The school parties in Bari played Italian pop and commercial hits, so I saw the gap: I built a crew across different high schools and social circles and threw the club nights our age group didn’t have yet. BLACK.OUT still runs today, and some people have the logo’s eyes tattooed on their arm.
